We looking to recruit people to take part in a research project. The research is being conducted by Thinks Insight & Strategy, an independent market research company, on behalf of the Department for Education and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology THIS IS OPEN TO PARENTS IN HAMPSHIRE – BUT THE LOCATION OF THE RESEARCH IS PORTSMOUTH PO1.
We are looking to speak to parents and their children about the use of AI in education.
The research would consist of an online community platform BEFORE & AFTER THE WORKSHOP and a face-to-face workshop on 14th June 2025 from 10 am-3 pm (Hampshire), followed by an online session after the workshop on DATE TIMES TBC.
London Sunday 15th June – Central London – 10 am to 3:00 pm
The sessions would last about 20 mins before and after the workshop and be carried out by experienced researchers from Thinks Insight & Strategy.
To thank you for your and your child’s time, you would receive £275 total FOR BOTH WORKSHOP AND ONLINE FOCUS GROUP, paid via an independent incentive payment platform, Ayda. This means you can put the funds in your Bank Account – no need to collect bank details.
Everyone taking part in the research will come from different backgrounds and will have a range of different experiences to talk about, so don’t worry, there are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ answers to the questions I am about to ask you.
THE FORMAT OF THE FOCUS GROUP IS THAT THE CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR KIDS KS3-KS5 –
Each child attends with a friend and a Parent, so 2 children – same year group and 1 parent for each child, can be mum or dad if the kids are friends and same year group. Please state clearly what Group you are interested in – please do not say “any” or you will not be considered.
