Our client has been asked to carry out some important research on behalf of Ofcom. Ofcom is the communications regulator who is responsible for regulating TV, radio, telecoms, postal services, video-on-demand services and video-sharing platforms and is also the regulator for online safety in the UK. The client needs participants aged 16+ UK-wide ( England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.) Ofcom has commissioned a valuable programme of work that aims to better understand people’s experiences of mis and disinformation and to explore ideas of how people from different groups can be better supported to identify and avoid it. Taking part in the research involves an online group discussion with up to 11 other members of the general public, led by a researcher from Verian. This would last 3 hrs and would be online via Teams. As a thank you for taking part, you will receive a £100 paid by BACS. Please let us know what dates you can do as spaces will be allocated based on your answers and ethnicity. The dates are as follows:
